The Centre for Students with Disabilities at the Faculty of Health Studies in Rijeka provides support to students with various types of disabilities or health conditions. Its goal is to ensure equal study conditions and facilitate their participation in teaching and student life.
The Centre is led by the Coordinator for Students with Disabilities, Assoc. Prof. Sandra Bošković, PhD, who collaborates with the Counselling Service for Academic Adjustment of the University of Rijeka.
In cooperation with the Counselling Service, the Centre provides students with information about their rights, counselling, and assistance in adapting the teaching process, for example through adapted exam conditions or organisation of classes. It also cooperates with teachers and other services to ensure the necessary support for students. In this way, the Faculty aims to create an accessible and inclusive environment in which all students have equal opportunities for successful study.
