The number and quality of published scientific papers of the Faculty are at a high level, and research results significantly contribute to the development of the scientific fields in which the Faculty operates. In the past five years, a stable and continuous growth of scientific production has been recorded, with record results achieved in 2025.
In the period 2021–2025, the trend of increasing the number of scientific papers based on original research has continued, particularly in the fields of nursing, physiotherapy, radiological technology, bioethics, public health and midwifery, with increasingly pronounced interdisciplinary cooperation.
According to data from the Web of Science and Scopus databases, a continuous increase in the total number of publications and citations of the Faculty’s researchers is evident. In the period 2014–2018, a total of 212 scientific papers were published, while in the period 2019–2023 this number increased to 509.
During the last two years, the annual number of publications indexed in the Scopus database has exceeded 100 papers, and in 2025 a record of 126 published papers was achieved. The quality of scientific production is further confirmed by the fact that 57% of published papers are ranked in Q1 and Q2 quartiles.
