Instructions for student mobility
Students of the Faculty of Health Studies who wish to exercise their right to Erasmus exchange are required to apply to the call announced by the University of Rijeka, regardless of whether they are applying for Erasmus traineeship or Erasmus study mobility.
Students who wish to participate in Erasmus mobility for TRAINEESHIP or STUDY STAY can find details on the website of the University of Rijeka.
Students are required to apply to the University call within the specified deadlines (submit all required documentation), and fully follow the instructions provided on the University website (both before and after the completion of the call).
Erasmus – study stay
Students who wish to participate in Erasmus mobility for a study stay (winter semester, summer semester or full academic year) must choose one of the faculties with which the Faculty of Health Studies has a signed bilateral agreement. It is important to carefully review the curriculum of the host institution, compare it with the curriculum at the home institution (FHS), and decide which courses the student wishes to enrol in at the host institution. It is advisable to consult with the head of the study programme at the home institution (FHS), and possibly with course coordinators, so that the student knows in advance which courses will be recognised.
IMPORTANT: A student may apply to only one faculty with which FHS has a signed bilateral agreement.
Erasmus – traineeship
Students who wish to participate in Erasmus traineeship mobility may find a placement through intermediary agencies, independently, or with the assistance of a mentor/Erasmus coordinator at their home faculty.
Student mobility for traineeship lasts a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 12 months, and is carried out on a full-time basis, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Traineeships can be carried out in companies, institutions, organisations and other entities with legal status.
Mobility can take place in European Union countries, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Macedonia or Turkey.
Important!
For selecting a traineeship placement, it is NOT necessary to have a signed bilateral agreement, but the student must submit an ACCEPTANCE CONFIRMATION form signed by the host institution in the application documentation.
Detailed instructions for outgoing student mobility can also be found on the following University of Rijeka website:
